Danica Patrick was the attention-grabbing ringer.
“It became all about her,” Andretti said. “Even our racing was secondary. I mean, to talk about her finishing 12th in the field, it was taking away from our real stars that we have that really were not getting the billing they should get.”
At the end of the day Micheal Andretti had enough. He and his team were one of the better teams in the Indy Car Series and almost always found a way to be competitive and win a few events, but the only the media wanted to talk about was Danica. And she didn’t seem care, she threw him and his staff under the bus at Indianapolis after they worked day and night to get here into the race when she was clearly not fast enough to be in the race. Any yet the Media continues to cover like she’s a rock star.
